My name is Courtney Pharr. I recently graduated from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Minors in Public Health and Bioinformatics. I plan to complete a Master of Health Science degree in Community Health at Clark before attending medical school.
Apart from academics, some of my outside interests include volleyball (I played for four years on the varsity team at Clark University), basketball, swimming, and water polo. In truth, I really love playing and/or watching any sport. I enjoy being outdoors, especially in my hometown of Seattle, Washington. I absolutely love traveling and I have been to England, Ireland, Kenya, and the Netherlands. Additionally, through the Athletics Department at Clark University, I have been on two service-learning trips: one to Guatemala in January 2014 and one to the Dominican Republic in January 2015. Here is a link to an article about the trip! When I am not studying, traveling, or playing volleyball, I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
